Rule 103
Suspension and cleaning chance
(1) If an employee is to be suspended, the officer authorized to issue a punishment order shall submit the suspension letter and the written letter of acquittal in accordance with sub-section (1) of section 80 of the Act to the concerned employee.
(2) The officer authorized to order punishment may himself or any other officer carry out a departmental investigation in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 80 of the Act and take a report with his judgment before demanding clarification from an employee.
